Lafup has always championed community works in Ibadan especially for more that a decade. The comedian and Tv host is well known as that one-important celebrity who takes feeding hungry street children seriously. Being the fore-most standup comedian and the pioneer of modern stand up comedy in southwest-Nigeria, he believes that comedy and comedians alike can do more for community growth and development. In his words ..." i feel comedy can do more than just merely making people laugh... we can make our community indeed happy and help educate people towards social change, peace and building a hunger free Africa where little or no child goes to bed hungry". Lafup hopes that his initiative Comedy for Change, Nigeria, will encourage people to take a cue while we do our own part to build the nation. Comedy for change Nigeria is a non-profit founded by Lafup, the objective is to fight against child hunger among street children, promote education among them especially the girl-child and use comedy to correct and educate the people towards health care and a better life for our children.
